LG Electronics Flatron L1980U

LG Electronics' L1980U monitor has become my monitor of choice.  This 19-inch model is the perfect all-around monitor for almost any home user or professional.

For use with my Media Center PC, it's my choice.  With a native resolution of 1280x1024, the picture is bright and clear.  There are settings that allow personal preferences for contrast, brightness, etc. enhances viewing.  The slim bezel and case is sleek and looks great and gives me plenty of room on my desk!

If you're a gamer, you'll appreciate the speed of this monitor!  The super fast 12ms response time allows you to play your favorite game without ghosting.

I use it a lot as the second monitor with my Tablet PC.  It works exceptionally well for this as the screen rotates to portrait so the picture is the same on both units without cutting off what I see on the Tablet.

The display automatically changes without any interference from the user.

The other exceptional feature of this monitor is that it will flip directly over.  This makes it ideal for those who may work with clients sitting across a desk.  You bring up what you want them to see, then rotate the screen towards them and they see exactly what you saw.  No need to have them looking over your shoulder and possibly seeing other information not for their eyes.  This is a great feature for doctors, real estate agents, and anyone else who might have sensitive material on their computers.

Look for a full review soon.
